Recall Notice: Exercise Units Recalled by Nautilus Due to Fall Hazard

August 13, 2009

Please be aware that the Nautilus Brands, in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC), has issued a recall of Nautilus F3 Chin Dip Stationary Exercise Units.


Basically,
the footpads on the unit can break, posing a fall hazard to consumers.  his recall involves Nautilus F3 Chin Dip stationary exercise units. The model number (F3CD) is located on the frame of the product.  Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled exercise units. Fitness centers and clubs have been sent free redesigned support plates for the footpads. Recall Notice: Fitness Balls by EB Brands

Please be aware that the EB Brands, in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPC), has issued a warning that an overinflated fitness ball can burst during use and cause serious injury.

EB Brands has since updated the instructions on how to safely inflate a fitness ball.  The EB Brands rubber fitness balls come in 55-, 65- and 75-cm diameter sizes, in various colors with the Bally Total Fitness, Everlast or Valeo logo printed on the ball.  These fitness balls were sold from May 2000 to February 2009 for between $15 and $30.  Consumers who have previously purchased one of these fitness balls should contact EB Brands to receive a copy of the updated instructions on how to safely inflate the ball.

Recall Notice: Bowflex® Ultimate 2 Home Gyms  by Nautilus Brands

March 3, 2009

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Consumers may continue to use their home gyms for exercising, but should not place the seat rail in the vertical (storage) position until the repair is performed. Registered owners are being sent a free repair kit. Owners who have not received a repair kit by March 10, 2009 should contact the firm.
